Shiny Creations Jewellery Review

Am I excited to show you my new and cute accessories!! I absolutely LOVE kawaii and quirky pieces and Shiny Creations is the place to find such cute and handmade jewellery pieces. The lovely Helen (shop owner) lovingly sent me a few adorable items from her shop and I have been getting compliments ever since!

About Shiny Creations:
Shiny Creations is a handmade jewellery and gift business with a flair for the dramatic, weird and wonderful. Our products have a particular emphasis on personalising to create a truly unique gift that only you can give.
We currently have a pick ‘n’ mix range, based on the classic sweets of childhood that we absolutely love. Each piece is handmade from Fimo using nothing but finger tips and cocktail sticks!
Don't forget us at the holidays too! We have new collections and products coming out all the time and limited edition items for Christmas, Easter, thanks giving, Halloween, Valentine's Day and more.

Opening my parcel was quite an experience, inside there were cute lil confetti shapes, the four accessories were gift wrapped individually in very festive packaging and Helen even included an information card and some cute free christmas stickers too!!

Marshmallow Flump Necklace £6.00*
MY FAVOURITE! I seriously LOVE this necklace! This totally reminds me of my childhood days, going to the pick n mix store and buying a huge ol' bag of marshmallows. It actually looks so real too! (not edible) The chain is silver plated and hypo-allergenic. It's suitable for sensitive skin which is a plus! The pastel pretty colours are so true to the real food item and this instantly finishes off any outfit and makes it atleast 10x cuter! Highly recommend this necklace!

Gingerbread Man Necklace £10.00*
What a cutie! You can tell the amount of effort that has gone into this accessory. The cute white icing cuffs and gumdrop buttons really makes the gingerbread man look realistic, it's all about the lil detailing. The glossy finish really neatens the design up and a perfect choice for the festive period. This would also make a great gift option too!

Mince Pie Earrings £7.00*
The picture does not do justice for these earrings, when I saw these, I truly was amazed at how it actually looked like mince pies. Helen did a great job at making the mince, look like mince. Another great choice for the festive time, a very quirky item too so if you know anyone who loves and wears the 'really out there' accessories then this has to be added to your shopping cart. The earring hooks are silver plated, hypo-allergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Doughnut Earrings*
Now you can really wear some guilt free calories! These adorable pink glazed doughnut earrings are just out of this world! It really reminds me of the Simpsons doughnut! This really catches the eye and is perfect for doughnut lovers out there! I posted a picture of these earrings on my instagram and everyone loved these. Another definition of fun and quirky.

I am super happy with my new accessories and I cannot recommend Shiny Creations enough! If you are looking for cute, fun and trendy jewellery then this is the only place! Be sure to follow Shiny Creations on social media to be kept upto date with cute updates and latest jewellery launch information.

I get so excited to see what Lush comes up with it on every seasonal holiday and now it's time for the Valentine's day range. I spotted the range on the website which is currently on sale pre release, there are some old favourites (slightly modified) and some newbies too!

Tisty Toasty bath bomb:
I love that this is pink for the Valentine's range! It will most definitely turn your bath water the most instagrammable shade of pink. This bath bomb contains woody orris root powder, rose absolute, Sicilian lemon oil, geranium, jasmine and real rose flower buds. £3.50 each
Kiss Me Quick washcard:
The new washcards are such an innovative release from Lush, I have no idea how to use these but you apparently scrub your body with it, I love the design of this particular one.
Scrub your body with this wash card made of apple pulp for a spicy clove and sweet mimosa scent. £2 each

Tender is the Night naked shower cream:
If you're trying to cut down on your plastic waste, Lush's Naked shower gels contain double the concentrate of liquid shower gels, so they will last you twice as long. With jasmine flower, ylang ylang, murumuru and shea butter you'll never want to reach for a plastic shower bottle again. £14.50 each

The Kiss lip scrub:
This pink sugar scrub is the cutest! It even contains lil edible hearts!! £5.95 each

Whole Lotta Love bubbleroon:
Lemongrass oil, rose absolute, organic shea butter and murumuru butter will make this the most hydrating bubble bath you've had in years. £4.75 each

Love Boat bath bomb:
Who said you can't use bath toys past the age of 25? This bath bomb is packed with organic sweet orange and Sicilian lemon oils to give you the happiest bath of your adult life. I cannot wait to buy this, my most favourite product out of the whole collection. £4.25 each

Heart of Enlightened Expectation bubble bar:
A bubble bar melt with ylang ylang and bergamot oil, Fair Trade organic cocoa butter, geranium, jasmine and rose. Designed to brighten your mood and soften skin. £4.50 each

Rose Bombshell bath bomb:
This comes in two sizes! A giant version and a normal sized version. A bath bomb with hidden yellow rose petals inside. With rose oil and Sicilian lemon this bath bomb smells as good as it looks. I've used this one before and I definitely recommend it! Normal size £4.50 each and giant size £14.95 each!!

Unicorn Horn bubble bar:
The trend that refuses to die. This bubble bar is packed with neroli oil which apparently increases serotonin levels in the brain making you feel happier than a unicorn in spring. I am not liking the design of this though! I think it looked way better when it had stars and lilac, yellow, blue and pinks swirled together. £4.50 each

Tunnel of Love soap:
A citrus soap with lime and sweet orange oils to make washing yourself that bit more exciting. £5.94 each

Melt my Heart massage bar:
Relax and unwind with this massage bar, it contains cypress oil, orange flower and cocoa butter bar as well as dried rose petals. £5.95 each

The Kiss lipgloss:
This conditioning lip gloss contains jojoba oil, shea butter and organic illipe butter to soothe those darn winter lips. Love the colour of this too! £6.50 each

Cherryish body scrub:
A solid exfoliating bar with organic cocoa butter and fine sea salt to banish even the worst lizard scale legs. Scented with chocolate and cherry...just try not to eat it. £7.95 each

How I Organise and Plan Blog Posts

I love blogging but I enjoy it even more when posts are organised way ahead of time (types with a cup of tea in hand) I wanted to share with you how I get posts published on my little creative space despite being a full time mom with an endless daily to do list that is as long as my arm.

Stationery Love
I carry around a notebook for those out of nowhere ideas, sometimes when I am out and about I end up getting inspired for beauty and or lifestyle posts so it's always handy to jot things down, that way you do not forget and you are ready to type away once you are back in front of your laptop.
Use pretty paperclips, pastel highlighters, scented gel pens and cute sticky note to make blog planning even more fun, it will definitely make you want to look at your notes and it won't look boring or feel like a chore!

Bulk photography and batch writing
I find it a whole lot easier if I do this and it really helps in the long run. Find a day to just take photos, in winter I definitely take photos until 2pm because that's when it starts to get dark :( knowing you have taken a huge bulk of photos definitely helps keep your mind at ease and you can really enjoy taking photos with props too!
Batch writing is another important thing that I do when I am in the mood to just type and type away.. usually with the help of some tea and cupcakes. Knowing you have posts saved away in the drafts section really helps for those lazier days when you don't feel like typing.

Beat procrastination!
My personal favourite. Sometimes it's good to have a break away from blogging, you know you're blogging way too much when you start dragging out important tasks that would normally take a few minutes. Sometimes I take a week or two off just so I can be me again and have my me and family time, it really helps to refresh your inner self and you'll enjoy blogging again with a much fresher mind.

What are your tips for good blog planning? I would love to know!
