Revlon Ultra HD Pink Matte Lips

💗💗 Shade- 605 HD Obsession

Matte lips are quite the craze, I absolutely LOVE the matte lip trend and I always opt for nude/light pink shades. I decided to go for a more braver colour option - Hot pink.
So many companies have released their own versions of matte liquid lipsticks and Revlon was one brand that I had to try and I was quite impressed.

Product description:
Lightweight, high definition velvety matte color. Moisturizing, velvety feel. 100% wax-free, gel formula. Available in 16 high definition shades.

The packaging is quite sleek and this collection looks quite sophisticated. The lipstick tubes come housed in a wide and flat look which makes it stand out from the rest. Each gloss holds 5.9ml and has a sponge applicator.

The formulation is incredible, I LOVE how this feels comfortable on the lips, I have found that some matte lip products feel so drying and uncomfortable but applying and wearing this is easy breezy.
I would describe the formulation as a hybrid of a lipbalm/lipstick although the finish isn't as matte, this does not take away from the formula. It still wears incredibly well. The initial application had a little shine but then it dries to a cream/semi matte finish. I love that this has a bit more moisture than other matte lip products, My lips even felt hydrated which is very rare with other matte lip products I have tried in the past.
I am able to get a great 5-6 hour wear without any feathering or cracking which is brilliant and not only that, the pigmentation is commendable! Such a vivid colour pay off that is true to the colour you initially see. I know I will be picking up more, especially the nude shades which is perfect for everyday wear.

Hema Stationery Haul

Stationery shopping is like, my favourite thing to do and ever since I got treated to a cute pink floral 2017 planner from, I have been wanting all sorts of cute stickers, washi tape and pastel gel pens so that I can plan prettily.

One of my favourite places to go to for affordable but cute stationery is Hema. Everything that I bought from the images above was between the 0.75p - £2 mark which is pretty impressive.

What I bought:👀❤
3x pack of Stickers, how amazin' are the holographic heart ones?!
2x Washi tape
Princess stamp
1x Sticky notes

I think I went over board on the stickers but I can't plan unless I heavily decorate my lists and notes *heart eyes emoji*
The arrow sticky notes are great for important dates/appointments and it beats the boring fluorescent sticky notes that you see practically everywhere!

I will definitely review the new planner so you can see how I use these items in my planning sessions, seriously.. I think I've become one of those planner geeks who collects every type of washi tape and wants more and more!

Have you visited Hema before? Would you buy stationery from here?

Technic Get Gorgeous Highlighter Review

There's nothing like adding light and shine to your base make-up and I love collecting highlighters. I'm glad to add this particular one to my collection because it gives my skin such radiance and the pigmentation is fab!

Product description:
Technic Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powder- Light and easy to use, enhance your cheeks eyes and pout with this star product. · For Cheeks - Simply apply directly onto the cheeks · Eyes - use to highlight the brow bone. · Lips - add just a little to the top of your cupids bow for a fab pout. Size: 12g

Technic cosmetics is a brand that needs to be tried more because I was so impressed when this arrived!
The packaging is sturdy, the highlighter pan is big enough to swirl your brush into and the amount of highlighter you are getting for the price is amazing!
The ripple design of the highlighter makes this a product worth looking at too! Since it looks much more interesting than a flat design.

I would describe this highlighter as the perfect icy champagne shade, that can look amazing on any skintone. The formulation and texture of this baked highlighter is very smooth and blends like a dream! This has beautiful shimmer with tiny specks of glitter. The ultimate princessy highlighter.

I was amazed at the pigmentation. There is so much colour pay off and you only really need to use a small amount because this product really means business. I however really like to pack it on to achieve a dewy and radiant look, especially on ill and tired days when my complexion really needs a boost. I know I will be using this more! I just wish I had tried this sooner!
